A$AP Ferg's Floor Seats II: We Officially Love It!

 

   Harlem rapper, A$AP Ferg (real name: Darold Durard Brown Ferguson Jr.) released a brand new mixtape on Sept. 25, 2020, titled Floor Seats II, and it's everything from awesome to banging cool as the A$AP Mob artist gives us the best of what he's got.  The set comes after his
debut EP Floor Seats which was released on August 16, 2019, and reached a No.50 peak on the US Billboard 200. From Floor Seats, came the dope track, "Jet Lag" which reached a No.8 high on our Officio 100 and was later accompanied with 'Value' (a top-30 effort on the run). 'Value' appears on the new set. 

   Floor Seats II is a 10-track set that features guest acts as Diddy, Fivio Foreign, FOUR ONE, Nicki Minaj, MadeinTYO, Lil Wayne, Jay Gwuapo, Mulato, Antha Pantha, Tyga and Marilyn Manson. The project was released via A$AP Worldwide, Polo Grounds, and RCA.  

   A$AP Ferg's debut album, Trap Lord, was released in Aug. 2013 and marked his first visit to the Billboard 200 where it peaked at No.8 and No.2 on the US equivalent Rap Albums chart. His second album, Always Strive and Prosper, came in April 2016, and was also a No.8 peak in the US. Aside from Floor Seats II, Ferg has released two other mixtapes before: Ferg Forever (2014) and Still Striving (2017). 

   The single 'Move Ya Hips' featuring Nicki Minaj and MadeinTYO was releases as the lead single for Floor Seats II, and debuted at No.19, becoming Ferg's best position on the Billboard Hot 100, ahead of 'Plain Jane' (2017) which reached No.26 on the same chart.
