    "Signs" (Snoop Dogg) was released on April 25, 2005 - via Doggy Style Records, Star Trak as well as Geffen Records, as the third single off Dogg's seventh studio R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece. The single features appearances from Justin Timberlake as well as Uncle Charlie (aka Charles Wilson). Written by Dogg along with Pharrell Williams Chad Hugo, Lonnie Simmons, Rudy Taylor as well as the featured artists, it was produces by The Neptunes (Williams & Hugo). 

   On the ARIA Singles chart, the single was successful, peaking atop the chart - where it stayed for 2 weeks, spending a total of 14 weeks on the tally. It also peaked atop the Australian Urban (ARIA) chart. It marked the rapper's first #1 entry in Australia which he would later follow up with "Wet" (in 2010), as well as his feature on Katy Perry's "California Gurls" (2010). At the end of 2005, it was ranked at No.37 on the ARIA chart and No.15 on the Australian Urban chart. 

  The song went to #1 on the Europe (Eurochart Hot 100), while peaking at #5 in Austria, #3 in Germany, #2 in Ireland, #7 in Italy, #3 in the Netherlands, #12 in Norway, #2 in Scotland and the UK, and No.46 in the US (Billboard Hot 100). Notably, it also topped the UK Hip Hop/R&B (OCC).  

The parent album was released November 16, 2004, peaking at No.6 on the Billboard 200 and No.8 in Canada. It featured the Hot 100 number-one hit "Drop It Like It's Hot" (feat. Pharrell), staying afloat for three weeks, while noting the first #1 entry for both artists.
