Pitbull (Armando Christian Pérez) born January 15, 1981, to Cuban immigrants  is a an American rapper, singer, songwriter, businessman and actor whose career kicked off in the early 2000s in the genres of reggaeton, Latin hip hop, and crunk music. 

   His debut album, M.I.A.M.I. was released August 24, 2004 via TVT Records. Selling 55,000 units in the first week, it debuted at No.14 on the US Billboard 200 chart, while topping the US Top Independent Albums chart. It was supported by five singles : "Culo" (feat. Lil Jon) (US #32), "That's Nasty", "Back Up", "Toma" (feat. Lil Jon)and "Dammit Man"(feat. Piccalo). On the US Top Rap Albums (Billboard) chart, the set peaked at No.6. 

  On November 15, 2005, his remix album - Money Is Still a Major Issue, was released via TVT and it featured his guest appearances on particular songs as well as remixes a few unreleased tracks. The album peaked at No.25 on the Billboard 200 chart, also reaching No.4 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums (Billboard) list and No.2 on the US Top Rap Albums (Billboard). 

   His sophomore album, El Mariel, was released October 31, 2006, through TVT and Bad Boy Latino Records. It debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200 list. The set also reached No.1 on the US Independent Albums (Billboard), No.2 on the US Top Rap Albums (Billboard) and No.5 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. It contained the singles "Bojangles" (US #91), "Ay Chico (Lengua Afuera)" (US #92), "Dime" (feat. Frankie J and Ken-Y), and "Be Quiet". 

   The Boatlift, was released November 27, 2007 - through TVT, Poe Boy and Bad Boy Latino Records. The album reached No.50 on the Billboard 200 while peaking at No.2 on the US Top Rap Albums (Billboard), while containing the singles "Go Girl" (feat. Trina and Young Bo$) (US #83), "The Anthem" (feat. Lil Jon) (US #36), "Sticky Icky" (feat. Jim Jones), and "Secret Admirer" (feat. Lloyd).  

  Pitbull Starring in Rebelution, was released August 28, 2009, via J, Polo Grounds and Mr. 305 Records. The set earned Pitbull his first top-ten effort on the Billboard 200 where it debuted at No.8. It also peaked at No.3 in Canada. It saw the singles "Krazy" (featuring Lil Jon) (US #30, AUS #38, CAN #70), "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" (AUS #6, CAN #2, FRA #1, IRE #5, SCO #3, UK #4, US #2), "Hotel Room Service" (AUS #11, CAN #7, IRE #6, SCO #10, UK #9, US #8), and "Shut It Down" (feat. Akon) (AUS #18, CAN #23, IRE #30, UK #33, US #42). 

   His first Spanish album and fifth studio album, Armando, was released November 2, 2010 - via Mr. 305 Inc. and Sony Latino Records. Although it peaked at No.65 on the Billboard 200, it managed to peak atop the US Latin Rhythm Albums (Billboard) while reaching No.2 on the US Top Latin Albums (Billboard) and No.6 on the US Top Rap Albums (Billboard). It contained the singles - "Watagatapitusberry", "Maldito Alcohol" (feat. Afrojack), "Bon, Bon" (US #61), and "Tu Cuerpo". 

   His sixth piece, Planet Pit, was released June 17, 2011 via Polo Grounds Music, Mr. 305 Entertainment, Sony Music, and J Records. Debuting at No.7 on the Billboard 200 chart, it marked Pitbull's second top-ten effort on the list and highest point on chart. Elsewhere the album reached No.5 in Australia, No.4 in Canada, No.17 in Ireland, No.16 in Scotland, No.11 in the UK and No.2 on the US Top Rap Albums (Billboard). It spawned the singles - "Hey Baby (Drop It to the Floor)" (feat. T-Pain) (AUS #10, CAN #10, FIN #4, IRE #32, SCO #31, UK #38, US #7), "Give Me Everything" (feat. Ne-YoAfrojack and Nayer) (AUS #2, CAN #1, IRE #1, NZ #2, SCO #1, US #1), "Rain Over Me" (feat. Marc Anthony) (AUS #9, CAN #7, IRE #16, SCO #20, UK #28, US #30), and "International Love" (feat. Chris Brown) (AUS #15, CAN #10, IRE #8, SCO #8, UK #10, US #13).

   Global Warming was out November 16, 2012 via Mr. 305, Polo Grounds and RCA Records. Debuting at No.14 on the Billboard 200, the set opened atop the US Top Rap Albums (Billboard) while peaking at No.14 and No.12 in Australia and Canada respectively. It contained the singles - "Back in Time" (AUS #4, CAN #4, IRE #15, UK #21, US #11), "Get It Started" (feat. Shakira) (AUS #31, CAN #42, UK #64, US #89), "Don't Stop the Party" (feat. TJR) (AUS #15, CAN #9, IRE #20, SCO #9, UK #7, US #17), and "Feel This Moment" (feat. Christina Aguilera) (AUS #6, CAN #4, IRE #13, NOR #6, SCO #2, UK #5, US #8). 

Globalization came out November 21, 2014 and peaked at No.18 on the Billboard 200 list. It contained the singles "Wild Wild Love" (feat. G.R.L.) (AUS #30, CAN #22, SCO #3, IRE #30, UK #, US #30), "Fireball" (feat. John Ryan) (AUS #26, CAN #16, SCO #23, UK #49, US #23), "Time of Our Lives" (feat. Ne-Yo) (AUS #12, CAN #10, SCO #23, UK #27, US #9), "Fun" (feat. Chris Brown) (CAN #24, UK #68, US #40), and "Drive You Crazy" (feat. Jason Derulo and Juicy J). 

   His second Spanish set and 9th studio album, Dale, was released July 17, 2015. It also debuted atop the  US Top Latin Albums (Billboard) while peaking at No.97 on the Billboard 200. It had the singles "Como Yo Le Doy", "Piensas (Dile la Verdad)", "El Taxi" and "Baddest Girl in Town"(feat. Mohombi and Wisin). 

   The 10th album, Climate Change was released March 17, 2017 - debuting at No.29 on the Billboard 200 list and No.12 on the US Top Rap Albums (Billboard). It contained the singles "Messin' Around" (feat. Enrique Iglesias) (CAN #51, US #64), "Greenlight" (feat. Flo Rida and LunchMoney Lewis) (US #95, CAN #77), "Options" and "Better On Me". 

On December 1, 2017, his greatest hits album, Greatest Hits, was released, a compilation of his tracks released between 2009 and 2014, including two new songs. 
  
   Libertad 548 was released September 27, 2019, and it debuted at No.12 on the Billboard 200 chart, while producing the singles - "No Lo Trates", "3 to Tango", "Me Quedaré Contigo", "Get Ready", "Mueve La Cintura", "Se La Vi", "Winning", "Tell Me Again", and "Cantaré".  His 12th album - Trackhouse was released on October 6, 2023 via Mr. 305 Records.
