Officio 100 ~ 80th Edition

 

         The eightieth version of the Officio 100 run sees one EDM track replace another as Dutch DJ Tiësto, hits the number-one spot for the very first time with "The Business, Pt. II" which features American rapper/singer Ty Dolla $ign, who earns his second number-one entry on the tally. The track rises to #1 in its third week while it jumps 27 places, thereby reserving the chart feat for the highest jump to the top in a week, now ahead of The Weeknd's "Save Your Tears". This marks the second time in a row, a song escalates to No.1 with over 10 places ahead, after ATB, Topic & A7S did so last week with "Your Love (9PM)" when it climbed 15 to 1 in its second week on the tally. While Pt.II reaches No.1, the original version titled "The Business" retreats to #29 after having peaked at No.16, the week before. The track features uncredited vocals from James Bell. ATB's "Your Love" moves down to No.5 scoring a second week in the top-5 tier. 

   At No.2 this week, country duo, Dan + Shay join the exclusive list of country tracks that have charted in the top-3 while "Glad You Exist" rises above its previous No.5 debut position, becoming just the second country song on the list to hit No.2 after Thomas Rhett's "Be a Light". Glad ranks as the week's Top Country Track.

   G-Eazy collects his third top-5 effort and top-10 altogether as he appears at No.3 for a second time, this round with the ascent of "Provide" (feat. Chris Brown & Mark Morrison) from its #14 debut last week. Brown earns his 6th top-ten entry on the list while British singer Morrison whose hit single is interpolated therein, scores his first entry on the run. G-Eazy has previously logged at No.3 and No.2 on separate occasions, giving him three top-5 credits. 

   Lil Tjay makes a return to the top-10 list after quite a good while with "Calling My Phone" which also features 6lack who scores his very best entry on the list. Tjay on the other hand marks his sixth top-ten effort and his 31st entry on the Officio 100. The track which dials in at No.4 ranks as the Highest Debut Entry of the week and the Top R&B Track as well. 

   Austin Burke's "Town Home" finishes its climb to the top-10 list of the chart as it reaches a peak of No.6 this week, marking its eighth week on the tally. The country track has had a considerably steady climb as for every week it gained a new rank right from its appearance on the 73th issue when it debuted at #84. Climbing from #15 last week, it's one of the best gainers on the chart this week. 

   Olivia Rodrigo's No.2 best "drivers license" keeps the descending order going as it downs to No.7 with 6 weeks on the list and in the top-10 as well. Also falling from No.2 this week, is Sia's "Floating Through Space" (with David Guetta) settling at No.10, while the Australian singer adds a 5th top-ten to her name with "Eye to Eye" at No.8 as well as four more other newer entries on the list. 

   Rita Ora re-appears on the chart after a rather long time, this time coming back with Imanbek as the pair collaborate on a new EP titled Bang. Ora collects her fifth top-ten effort with the No.9 debut entry "Big", which gives the Kosovo-born producer his first top-ten therein and highest point. The track also credits French DJ David Guetta (who adds a third top-10) and rapper Gunna (who scores his 14th top-ten effort, trying him with producer Kygo).
