Officio Play - 55th Edition

 

     Lady Gaga opens atop the Play list for a third time as "Garden of Eden" starts at number one on the 55th Edition of the tally (which follows her former #1s - "Disease" (Edition 41) and "Die with a Smile" (Edition 31), the latter features Bruno Mars), Gaga debuts at No.2 simultaneously with "LoveGame", along with "How Bad Do U Want Me" at No.6 and "Don't Call Tonight" at No.10, a total of 4 top-10 debuts in one run, bringing her total top 10s to an overall seven - tying with rapper Future for the third most top ten efforts on the tally (behind Taylor Swift and Travis Scott). On the Edition, the singer holds the most new entries (11) including: "Vanish Into You" (13), "Shadow Of A Man" (43), "The Beast" (44), "Killah" (feat. Gesaffelstein) (45), "Perfect Celebrity" (53), "Kill for Love" (67), and "Blade of Grass" (69), earning an amassed 20 total entries on the chart(the ninth most as of this edition).  "Die with a Smile" recedes to No.9, all the while collecting a record 25th stint on the chart, all spent within the top 10, surpassing Shaboozey's "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" (24 non-consecutive runs in the top 10). Lady Gaga would become the 4th act on the tally to have a No.1 and No.2 debut on the same run (after Future & Metro Boomin, Taylor Swift & The Weeknd). 

   Chappell Roan's former leader "Pink Pony Club" falls back to third place after taking to the summit on the Edition 54, relishing in the top 5 for a fifth stint since its No.3 debut. Doechii's "Anxiety" advances to fourth place, earning a new high on the tally and the edition's Top Rap effort. 

   "luther" (Kendrick Lamar, SZA) springs back into the top 5, rising to No.5 with six spells in the top 10 and adding a total 11 spells on the tally overall, having led the chart on Edition 52. 

   JENNIE joins her fellow Blackpink members to earn a top 10 entry on the list with the ascent of "ExtraL" (with Doechii) to No.7 - giving Doechii a third top ten thereon. JENNIE further debuts five new spots with the highest at No.14, the Dua Lipa assisted "Handlebars" (Lipa's first feature entry on the list), followed by "Damn Right" (featuring Childish Gambino and Kali Uchis) (28), "start a way" (54), "like JENNIE" (62), and "Seoul City" (65). 

   Tate McRae's "Revolving door" (a No.1 debut on Edition 53), descends to No.8, adding a third total stay in the top 10 and overall on the tally.
