Rushmere entered atop the UK Official Albums chart, earning the band their third No.1 record in the country, following Babel (2012) a US number one as well, and Wilder Mind (2015), also a US number one. It also topped the UK Americana Albums (OCC). 

In Scotland, the album also entered atop the albums chart. On the ARIA chart, it entered at No.7., No.10 in Ireland and #26 in New Zealand.
