Charts:

On the ARIA chart, Music entered at number one, marking Carti's first chart topper in the land Down Under and also his first to reach the top 10 region - having reached #15 with Whole Lotta Red (2020) and #49 with Die Lit (2018). The album replaced Lady Gaga's MAYHEM  which retreated to fourth place on the list. This marked Carti's first highest charting effort on the chart and first top ten

In the UK, Music debuted at number on the Official Albums chart, earning the rapper his first topper, also replacing MAYHEM at the top of the chart. Carti scored his first ever top 10 record in the region, following Whole Lotta Red which peaked at No.17 and Die Lit which reached #27. In Ireland, the album entered in second place bested by Sabrina Carpenter's Short n Sweet returning to the top spot.

On the Billboard 200, the set opened atop the tally, earning Carti his second number-one entry on the U.S. chart. The album earned 298,000 equivalent album units in its first week, the biggest in 2025 for a rap album. Carti last visited the summit with Whole Lotta Red in January of 2021 when it debuted at No.1, and had reached No.3 with Die Lit (2018). MUSIC ranks as his third top ten charting effort. In its second week, the album held on to number one spot for a consecutive run, blocking out Selena Gomez & benny blanco's I Said  I Love You First. It then marked his first album to stay afloat for more than a week.

Elsewhere, the album peaked atop the New Zealand Albums chart (his first thereon), went #1 on the Australian Hip Hop/R&B Albums list, #2 in Ireland, #1 in Iceland, #2 in Italy, #1 in Lithuania, Norway and Switzerland, while reaching No.2 in Sweden.

The single "Evil J0rdan" entered at No.2 on the US Billboard Hot 100, #7 on the ARIA list, #4 on the Global 200, #1 in Latvia and Lithuania, #5 in New Zealand, #3 in Switzerland, and No.7 in the UK while topping the UK Hip Hop/R&B (OCC) and hitting #2 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (Billboard) chart. "Rather Lie" (with the Weeknd) debuted at No.4 on the Hot 100 on the same run as the aforementioned single, it entered at No.10 on the UK Official Singles list, #9 in Canada, #6 on the Global 200, #7 on the NZ chart, and #8 in Switzerland.
