Harry Styles challenging for UK Number 1 single with Lights Up
The Official Chart: First Look, which is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 between 6pm – 7pm, offers a first glance of the Top 20 ahead of Friday’s Official Singles Chart Top 100.
Here's how the week is shaping up so far.
Harry Styles is in the race for Number 1 with his new single Lights Up. The song is currently at Number 2 and trails Tones and I’s Dance Monkey, which could claim a third week at the top.
Hit producer Steel Banglez, rappers Mist and Stefflon Don and Indian vocalist and Sidhu Moose Wala are a new entry at Number 7 with Punjabi/UK rap track 47. The song could mark the second Top 10s for Steel Banglez, Mist and Stefflon Don, and a first for Sidhu Moose Wala.
Lewis Capaldi is on track for his fourth UK Top 10 single with Bruises at Number 8, while Ed Sheeran could collect his 26th with South of the Border featuring Camila Cabello & Cardi B at Number 9.
We could see new Top 20 entries this week from: Turn Me On by Riton & Oliver Heldens ft. Vula (16); Tiesto & Mabel’s God is a Dancer (17); and Maroon 5’s Memories (20).
