The Officio Play : 50th Edition

 

   The Weeknd scores the Edition's number one debut with "Cry for Me", marking the singer's first debut at the spot, and third number one effort (following the #2 debuts "Dancing in the Flames" and "Timeless" - which eventually rose to the top). Boasting a record 17 new entries on the edition, The Weeknd lands seven new top ten entries simultaneously on the run - "Open Hearts" (No.2), "Baptized in Fear" (No.3), "The Abyss" (with Lana Del Rey) (No.4), "Take Me Back to LA" (No.5), "Reflections Laughing" (with Travis Scott and Florence and the Machine) (No.9), and "Enjoy the Show" (with Future) (No.10), bringing his total top 10s to 12 (tying for the most with Swift). Lana Del Rey collects her second top ten feature, as does Florence + The Machine; Scott earns his 8th, and Future his 7th. Future adds his record 39th entry on the tally (the most by any act). "Timeless" clocks right back into the top 10 tier rising to No.6, adding a sixth run in the top tier and fourteenth overall. With 8 songs ranking in the top ten, The Weeknd becomes the second artist to command an entirety of the top tier (following Taylor Swift's top ten run on Edition 14). 

   Teddy Swim's fourth topper on the tally, "Guilty", skids to No.7 in its second run on the tally, following its debut lead on the prior edition. 

   Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars follow at #8 with the former No.1 ranking "Die With a Smile", which measures up a 20th stay in the top ten and overall on the tally. 

   At No.11, Marshmello's team up with Jonas Brothers - "Slow Motion" steps out of the top tier after two runs in the tier, including a debut atop the tally, it adds a third total run on the chart. 

   Steve Aoki & David Guetta set in at No.14 with the edition's Best New EDM effort, "My Life", which features the late PnB Rock as well as Swae Lee. Aoki earns his second entry on the list, Guetta his 15th, Rock collects his first (posthumously), while Lee marks his second feature. 

   GRYFFIN's "In My Head" (with Kaskade & Nu-La) debuts at #21 on the tally, marking the 11th entry for the producer/DJ. Morgan Wallen garners his eighth chart feature with "I'm the Problem" at No.23. 

  Danish singer, Christopher, marks his debut entry on the chart with "Lose A You" at No.24. Country iconic music band Rascal Flatts enter their first appearance on the list with "I Dare You" at #33, a collaboration with Jonas Brothers who score their fourth effort on the chart. 

  Newcastle raised (Ugandan born) artist Victor Ray enters on the tally first time with "Hearts Break and People Change" at No.34. David Damiano (Italian singer) makes a chart debut at No.42 with his own rendition of "Nothing Breaks Like A Heart". Tom Grennan collects his second appearance on the list with "Shadowboxing" at No.43. 

   Yung Bleu marks a first chart appearance at #53, together with rapper Meek Mill, on "Friends to Miami". James Bay teams up with Jon Batiste on "Sunshine in the Room" lighting in at No.58. JENNIE also teams with Dominic Fike to deliver "Love  Hangover" at #62. Will Smith owns a first appearance with "Beautiful Scars" (feat. Big Sean & OBanga) at #64, and finally, Zach Bryan plots his 18th entry with a new "Blue Jean Baby" at No.65.
