Released as the 4th single from Shaboozey's third studio album, the country hit proved way successful topping the US Billboard Hot 100 chart for a record 19 weeks, one of the longest leading entries on the tally. For the 67th Grammy Awards, the song has received nods for Song of the Year, Best Country Song, and Best Country Solo Performance, in addition to Shaboozey earning one for Best New Artist.

At the year-end global charts (2024), the song ranked at No.1 in Canada, Netherlands and the US Hot Country Songs chart; No.6 on the Global 200 (Billboard), New Zealand and in the UK, it was the second-best selling song of the year in the US behind Teddy Swim's "Lose Control".
