The Officio Play ~ Edition 37

 

     EDM makes a near return to the top of the Officio Play, thanks to a No.1 debut from producer favorite Kygo teaming up with pop rock band Imagine Dragons to present "Stars Will Align" leading the 37th Edition. The entry marks just the third EDM tune to top the tally (following Clean Bandit's "Cry Baby" as well as David Guetta / Alesso's "Never Going Home Tonight"). The Norwegian producer earns his highest score and third fourth 10 effort, besting the No.2 reaching "Love Me Now or Lose Me Later", ID collect their third top 10 effort on the tally - after "Eyes Closed" and "Wake Up". 

   The Weeknd debuts yet again in the runner spot, now with "Timeless" (featuring Playboi Carti" - earning the singer a fifth top ten effort. directly following the No.1 peaking "Dancing in the Flames" which descends from the top spot to No.3 adding a third run in the top three area. 

   LG Malique's "Seven Days" makes a brand-new appearance at No.4 with an assist from the original music act, Lukas Graham, whose piece it interpolates. The entry marks the highest score for the rapper as well as for the Danish act. Teddy Swim's former leader "Bad Dreams" slumbers to fifth position all the while running its third course. 

   At #6, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars rise a spot with their previously number one entry "Die with a Smile", as it lives to its 7th course overall, all within the top ten from the time of its debut atop the list. Tommy Richman adds a third top ten effort as "THOUGHT YOU WERE THE ONE" rises from No.11 to a new #7 peak. Addison Rae's "Diet Pepsi" spills to No.8 after peaking at No.4 on the earlier edition, adding a third course in the top tier. 

   Shaboozey stumbles back to the top ten, rather soon, as the former champion "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" rises #12 to No.9, earning the entry its 20th stay in the top ten (a record most) and a 23rd overall. The musical band The Strike enter the Play at No.10 with their highest score and second entry on the list - "I Wish That You Would".
