Nicki Minaj notches her third US number-one album with Pink Friday 2 opening atop the Billboard 200 chart (dated Dec. 23, 2023). This follows Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded in 2012 as well as the debut set Pink Friday (2011). Pink Friday 2 (released through Young Money Entertainment and Republic Records) earned 228,000 units in its first week, enough to land a debut atop the tally. The album was released December 8, 2023 (Minaj's 41st birthday). The album earns the famed rapper her 7th top-10 album of her career.
The set comes with features from J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Tate Kobang, Drake, Lourdiz, Lil Uzi Vert, Skillibeng, Skeng, Future, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, 50 Cent, Monica, and Keyshia Cole. In Australia, the album came in at No.3 while topping the Australian Hip Hop/R&B Albums (ARIA) chart. In Ireland, the album opened at No.9 while setting in at No.3 on the UK Albums chart, while topping the UK R&B Albums (OCC) list.
