Jack Harlow's "Lovin On Me" Debuts atop the UK and ARIA Singles Charts

It is a new dawn in the UK for the American rapper, Jack Harlow, as he scores his first ever UK number-one single with "Lovin On Me" setting in atop the record chart, fending off closest competition from Dua Lipa's "Houdini" coming in at number 2. The single marks Harlow's best position thus far and fourth top-ten entry overall following the efforts - "3D" (with Jung Kook) (#5), "First Class" (#2), and "Industry Baby" (with Lil Nas X) (#3), the latter peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Currently, Harlow adds his 9th entry on the UK chart. Tailing in second place this week, Dua Lipa's "Houdini" marks the singer's 14th top ten effort and her second to peak at No.2 instead of the top spot, after "Don't Start Now" (#2). It also stands as her 30th entry on the chart. In its second week on chart, the song stayed atop for a consecutive run.

In Australia, Jack Harlow earns his second chart topper on the ARIA Singles list and fifth top-ten overall as "Lovin On Me" makes a number-one entry on the list following "First Class" which led for two weeks. This week, Harlow fends off competition from Tate McRae's "greedy" which lifts from 3-2, and ahead of Doja Cat and Taylor Swift. Dua Lipa's "Houdini" appears in at No.7 giving the English superstar her 11th top ten effort in Australia.

Lovin On Me was released November 10, 2023 through Generation Now and Atlantic Records, with writing credits from Harlow, Oz, Sean Momberger, Nik Frascona, Nickie Jon Pabón, and Reginald Nelton, as well as production efforts by Oz, Frascona, and Momberger - while sampling Cadillac Dale's 1995 track "Whatever (Bass Solique)". The single marks the rapper's third release for the year 2023, after "They Don't Love It" (CAN #40, US #54, UK #76) (off his third studio album, Jackman), "3D" (with Jungkook) (AUS #7, CAN #10, US #5).

For the week ending Nov. 25, 2023, "Lovin On Me" made its debut at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, just behind Taylor Swift's "Cruel Summer" (with 4 weeks atop) - this earned Harlow his fifth top-ten on the record chart. Notably, Tate McRae attained her first ever top-ten entry on the same chart in the same run with "greedy" climbing to No.8, surpassing her No.17 effort "You Broke Me First" in 2021.

For the week ending Dec. 02, 2023, "Lovin on Me" climbed to the number-one spot, swapping positions with Taylor's "Cruel Summer". At the peak of the Hot 100, the single marked Harlow's third number score and second as a lead and solo act.
