U.K. Singles Glory For Shawn Mendes And Camila Cabello's 'Señorita'

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have the U.K.'s new No. 1 single, climbing a place with “Señorita” (Syco Music/EMI/Universal). Lewis Capaldi climbs 2-1 for a sixth aggregate week atop the album chart with Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent (EMI/Universal).

The Official Charts Company reports weekly streams for “Señorita” of 8.2 million, giving Mendes and Cabello each a second No. 1 single in the market. Mendes previously scored with 2016's “Stitches” and Cabello with “Havana” in 2017.

Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber's “I Don't Care” (Asylum/Def Jam) thus ends its eight-week reign, falling to second place. Sheeran's “Beautiful People” (Asylum/Columbia), with Khalid, holds at No. 3; “Cross Me,” featuring Chance The Rapper and PnB Rock and also on the British star's No. 6 Collaborations Project album, released Friday (July 12), is down 6-8.

Capaldi's “Hold Me While You Wait” rebounds 5-4 on the new singles list, as Post Malone secures the week's highest new entry, “Goodbyes” (Republic/Universal), featuring Young Thug. It starts at No. 5 to become Malone's seventh U.K. top ten single.
