Officio Play: Edition 86
Taylor Swift's second chart topper "The Fate of Ophelia" adds a second run at the summit of the Play (Edition 86), becoming the fourth entry to score at least two stints atop the list (after "Golden" (HUNTR/X) (4), "Timeless" (The Weeknd/Playboi Carti) (2) and ""Funeral" (Teddy Swims) (2)). Swift's former No.2 debut, "Opalite" descends to No.10 in its second earning the prolific singer a top ten double, following her top five territorial debut on the previous run.
RAYE's "WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!" skips into the top 10, escalating right from #11 to the runner-up slot, marking the singer's sixth top ten effort, while marking the British singer's best solo effort, surpassing the No.3 peaking "What Difference A Day Makes" all the while matching her feature on LISA's "Born Again" which lodged at the same spot.
Khalid scores ten new entries on the chart overall, led by the No.3 high "nah" marking the singer's fifth top ten appearance, followed by: "yes no maybe" (#15), "whenever you're gone" (#19), "hurt people" (#34), "impulsive" (#45), "please don't call (333)" (#46), "tank top" (#65), "momentary lovers" (#66), "angel boy" (#72), and "rendezvous" (#73). "out of body" lifts to No.20 in its third run on the tally. Khalid has previously reached No.2 with "Please Don't Fall in Love with Me", No.6 with the Rudimental feature "All I Know" and his own "Adore U" reached No.9 along with the Kane Brown feature on "Rescue" peaking at No.3.
Calum Scott also enters his fifth top ten score, a Lauren Alaina collaboration, "One More Drink" tabs in at No.4, earning the edition's Top Collab effort. The pop country tune garners Alaina her very first to ten appearance on the tally. It pulls ahead of Scott's newer entries: "Unsteady" (#23), "Lose Myself" (#32), "Mad" (#47) and "Peripheral Vision" (#76). The singer's re-imagination of Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)" (a former #1 rank on the listing) returns to the top ten sitting at No.9, earning a fourth stay overall in the tier, also giving Scott a double top ten feature.
David Guetta scores his eighth top ten (the most for any EDM act on the tally) with the No.5 debuting collab "Gone Gone Gone". The edition's Top EDM effort features singers Teddy Swims and the Australian musician Tones and I, who in turn score their seventh and first top ten appearances, respectively.
HUNTR/X racks up a sixteenth consecutive stay in the top 10, attributed to their global smash effort, "Golden" which painted the Play chart's list for an unmatched four runs at the summit. The effort still ranks for the third-longest sprint in the top ten tier, thus far. The song lifts to No.6 on the current edition. Doja Cat's number one rank "Stranger" dips a spot to No.7 adding a third run in the top ten, consecutively.
Dermot Kennedy's "Melodies" sticks at its No.8 rank for a second spell, the same spot it debuted on the earlier edition.
