Officio PLAY : Edition 72

 

   For the 72nd Edition, the fictional K-pop group, HUNTR/X, darts to the top spot as their only top ten feature, "Golden" sprints from a No.10 start to hit the summit, in its second run on the list, making it the first K-pop influenced entry to hit the number one mark, and the first fictional group to do so as well as the first girl group or trio to achieve the feat. They also debut at No.11 with a new "Takedown" appearance, while their "How It's Done" rises two spots to No.71.

   At No.2, Lewis Capaldi gains a chart best with "Survive" which lifts from its No.8 start to reach the runner up slot, marking the singer's highest point thus far. 

   Swedish House Mafia's "Wait So Long" descends from the chart's summit, after leading the previous list, the trio's first #1, retreating to #3, adding a third stay on the tally. Lorde's "If She Could See Me Now" slips from a No.2 start to settle at No.4 in its second run on the tally. 

   BigXthaPlug's "Home", a feature with country trap star, Shaboozey, rises a spot to No.4, earning a new peak and a second run in the tier, and stands as the edition's Top Collab entry.

    Ed Sheeran's chart topping "Drive" from the F1 movie soundtrack drops to sixth place, collecting a third run in the tier. Morgan Wallen's "What I Want", a former #1 on the list and a feature with Tate McRae, lifts to No.7, all the while racking up an 8th consecutive run in the top tier. 

  American musician and producer, Alex G, boosts to the top 10, for the first time ever, as "Afterlife" leaps from No.12 to a new #8, with six runs on the tally. 

  Alex Warren's "On My Mind", with ROSÉ, recedes from its No.4 debut to settle at #9, earning a second run in the tier. 

  David Guetta & Hypaton revive Bonnie Tyler's classic tune "Total Eclipse of the Heart" into a dance anthem, setting in at No.10, as the edition's highest debut entry. Guetta marks his 7th top ten effort, Hypaton collects his first top ten score as does the legendary Tyler.
