Billboard 200 Update: Travis Scott Makes 3 Weeks at the Top of the Charts with UTOPIA


   Travis Scott's fourth album, Utopia, marks a third consecutive run on the Billboard 200 list, a spot it earlier debuted on, becoming his third as a credited artist and fourth overall. The set came atop the UK Albums Chart earning the American rapper his first in the country, while hitting the top position on the ARIA Albums Chart, scoring his second after 2018's  Astroworld

  Prior to Utopia, Scott was a lead part on the collaborative compilation studio effort, JACKBOYS (2019), which opened atop the Billboard 200, released under the Cactus Jack Records label. Scott's debut studio album, Rodeo, was released Sept. 4, 2015 and managed to peak at #3 on the aforementioned record chart, its debut position as well.  On Sept. 2, 2016, his sophomore set, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, was released through Grand Hustle Records with distribution done by Epic Records. The record opened atop the Billboard 200 list, earning the trapstar his initial number-one entry thereon, and was certified Platinum in 2017 by the RIAA. Astroworld (Jug. 3, 2016) met enormous success, debuting at No.1 on the Billboard 200, while featuring his first ever number-one score on the equivalent Billboard Hot 100 list with "Sicko Mode". Astroworld went to number-one in Australia, Canada, Italy, New Zealand, Norway and Sweden, all the while peaking at No.3 in the UK. In 2019, the album received a Grammy nod for Best Rap Album, however lost to Cardi B's Invasion of Privacy. "Sicko Mode" was as well nominated for Best Rap Song & Best Rap Performance, none of which categories he won. Together with Quavo of Migos, Scott released his foremost collaborative studio effort, Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho, on Dec. 21, 2017, debuting at No.3 on the US Billboard 200.
