Officio Top 100 : Edition 96
Scottish DJ and producer, Calvin Harris, teams up with fellow British musician, Tom Grennan for this week's top track on the Officio 100 list as "By Your Side" debuts at No.1, adding to the list of #1 electronic dance tunes to reign at the spot. The song which marks the week's Top EDM track becomes Harris' first top-ten effort, and his second appearance on the tally after "Over Now" (feat. The Weeknd), which entered at No.24 and lasted for only 2 weeks. Grennan scores his second top-ten reach and best effort following the No.2 entry, "Little Bit of Love", which adds its 19th week now on the tally. This brings the singer's total to 12 on the list. The two British acts mark their first stand at the No.1 spot and replace yet another British duo entry as Niall Horan & Anne-Marie's "Our Song" backtracks to No.9 in its third week on the tally.
Another EDM tune makes a debut at No.2, American electronic musician, Surf Mesa, marks his very first appearance on the tally along with English singer/songwriter Bipolar Sunshine, as they collaborate on "Lose My Mind". This time marks just another one when EDM rules the fore two spots in the tier.
Country-trap singer BRELAND debuts at No.3 along with Australian country singer, Keith Urban, for the week's Top Country Song with "Throw It Back". The entry marks Breland's first top-ten reach while Urban earns his 4th top-ten, ranking his second-best after his feature on Thomas Rhett's No.2 "Be a Light" and 16th chart entry. Breland marks his second chart entry after his previous collaboration with Urban and Nile Rogers on "Out of the Cage" (No.66).
Roddy Ricch boasts the week's Top Rap Entry with "Late at Night" setting in at No.4, and earning the awesome rapper his 6th top-ten effort and 24th total entry on the tally. The song marks his second persona; best after the No.1 reaching "The Box" which spent 14 weeks in the top-ten tier, the best at that point. Ricch ties with fellow rappers Eminem and A Boogie wit da Hoodie, with 6 top-ten entries each.
Former No.1 entrant, Galantis' "Heartbreak Anthem" (with David Guetta & Little Mix) drops to No.5 from #2, with 3 weeks in the top-5. BTS' No.3 debut "Butter" recedes to No.10 after its first two weeks at the start position, marking three weeks in the tier, surpassing their previous best-entry, "Dynamite" which stayed in the tier for two weeks after a No.2 entry.
American singer/songwriter John Mayer logs in the week's Top Rock Entry with "Last Train Home" at No.6, which marks the singer's best effort on the tally and first top-ten entry, while his second appearance after "Carry Me Away" (No.26). The tracks are in anticipation of his 8th studio album, Sob Rock, yet to be released in July.
The Weeknd & Ariana Grande rise to No.7, just a spot higher, with their former leader "Save Your Tears" (Remix), while adding a 7th week in the tier and altogether since their No.1 entry, surpassing the previous version, also a No.1 reach, which collected 6 weeks in the top-ten, however stayed for 23 weeks on the tally.
Justin Bieber's "Peaches" (feat. Daniel Caesar & Giveon) adds a 12th week in the top-10 level, still standing as the third-longest stay therein, at No.8 this week, and with a remix version, due to effect on the forthcoming run.
Notably, Swedish singer/producer, A7S, debuts at No.11 with "Nirvana", marking his second-best entry, following his feature on ATB x Topic's No.1 hit "Your Love (9PM)", which adds a 19th week on the tally. Gryffin's "Best is Yet to Come" (feat. Kyle Reynolds) sets in at No.17, ahead of blackbear & Tate McRae's effort "u love u" at No.18.
Lil Baby & Lil Durk lead with the most entries on the week's run with 14 overall, thanks to their collaborative album, The Voice of the Heroes, with the titular track rising to No.20 in its second week. With 13 new entries, Lil Baby now boasts 89 total tracks, the most for any act on the list (and the most top-tens with 17, currently), whereas Lil Durk rounds a total of 70 entries, putting him in the top-5 list of acts with the most entries on the tally, currently.
