Officio Best Song Picks - 93

 

    Katy Perry hops back to the Officio 100 list with a lead this week as "Electric" debuts atop the tally, marking her third No.1 score on the chart, following "Harleys in Hawaii" and "Only Love", which were both number-one starters. Electric marks Perry's 9th top-ten entry and the third Pikachu-inspired track to appear in the top-10 list while the best after Kygo's "Carry On" (with Rita Ora) (#2) and Post Malone's "Only Wanna Be With You" (#10).

   In second place, Olivia Rodrigo matches her other best rank with another No.2 debut, "good 4 u", which stands as the week's Officio Pop Song, and follows her "deja vu" (#9) and "drivers license" (#2), with the former making a re-entry this week and the latter carrying on its stay for a 19th week.  The singer boasts with three top-ten efforts currently as the parent album, Sour, arrived on May 21, 2021. 

   Julia Michaels' former week's leader, "Little Did I Know" hangs down to settle at No.3, with three weeks in after its entry at No.2, and a stint at the top. The top three tier is an all-female-lead run, a rather rare feat on the tally. 

   Internet Money, the musical group, collects its second top-ten entry on the Officio 100, with the No.4 "His & Hers" (feat. Gunna, Don Toliver & Lil Uzi Vert). The entry earns Gunna his 16th top-ten effort (tying him with DaBaby, and just behind Lil Baby), Toliver collects third as does Uzi Vert.The tracks is the week's Officio Rap Track and follows the producer's No.1 reaching "Lemonade" on which Toliver and Gunna were featured along with rapper Nav. 

   The Weeknd's "Save Your Tears" (with Ariana Grande) steps below to No.5 after a lead entry weeks before, while adding a fourth week total in the top-5.  Audien's "Learn to Love Again" skips below from #3 to No.8 in its second week while being the only EDM track in the tier. At No.9, Justin Bieber's "Peaches" slips with 9 weeks within the tier, for an R&B track. Joyner Lucas' "Ramen & OJ" (with Lil Baby) moves down to No.10 with 3 weeks in after a stint at the first two spots. 

   J. Cole scores his second top-ten effort overall while his first as a lead act with "pride.is.the.devil" at No.6, which also earns Lil Baby his 17th top-ten effort, putting him in the lead for most top-tens on the tally. Cole was previously featured on Gang Starr's No.4 peaking "Family and Loyalty" and this week adds a few tracks including the No.13 debut, "my.life" (feat. 21 Savage & Morray).  

   Russ Millions and Tion Wayne mark the week's Hit Gainer with their UK-chart ruling hit "Body" which climbs from #19 to a new No.7 this week, making it their first in their tier, while adding to the list of UK rappers to have featured within the top-ten.  The song draws inspiration from Megan Thee Stallion's "Body" which ranked at No.6 on the Officio 100
