Officio 100 Tracks : Run #87

 

   Spanish DJ, Danny Avila, reaches the Officio summit with "Searchlight" as the EDM tune adds a 5th week on the tally and a third week in the top-5, following its ascent to No.3, a position it held at for the last two weeks. It adds a few toppers that have skipped second place while managing to hit the No.1 spot. Avila marks the second Spanish act to represent at number-one after singer Rosalia did on two occasions. The producer joins the elite list of music producers who have peaked atop our Officio 100 run. 'Searchlight' holds as the week's Top EDM Track for a third week in a row. 

   Silk Sonic's "Leave the Door Open" slips to No.2 after ruling the week before, having earned Bruno Mars and Anderon.Paak, their best rank as far.  'Leave...' stays as the week's Top R&B Song. Justin Bieber's newest favorite and former No.1 ranker, "Peaches" (feat. Daniel Caeser & Giveon) steps to No.3 in a steady descent after it came atop the chart in its first week, slipped to No.2 last week and No.3 this week. 

   Ali Gatie joins the top-5 ranks as "Do You Believe" (feat. marshmello & Ty Dolla $ign) jumps two places to No.4 after its debut last week. It marks the second best EDM track for the week.  

   At No.5, comes a brand new country collaborative effort Parmalee & Blanco Brown's "Just the Way" (feat. Bryce Vine), bringing country right back to the top-10 tier while adding to a few that have reached the league.  Parmalee is an American country music band, consisting of 2 brothers, their cousin and their best friend. While the band earns their first appearance, Brown has appeared before on the list with his prior best being "The Git Up" which rose to No.5 on the early chart runs (running for 8 weeks) and "The Git Up" (Remix) (with Ciara) which peaked at No.13, in so it marks the singer's second top-5 entry. For rapper Bryce, this is his second chart entry and first top-ten. 

  Lil Tjay scores his 8th top-10 entry on the Officio 100 list with "Run It Up" at No.6, and the highest Rap Debut for the week. Featuring fellow rappers, Offset collects his first top-ten credited as himself while Moneybagg Yo, his third.  Tjay adds a total of 14 new tracks on the chart this week in support of his sophomore album, Destined 2 Win.

   Joel Corry holds steady with "BED", a former No.1 rank on the list, which featured RAYE and David Guetta. It adds a sixth straight week in the top-ten and overall. 

   At No.8, Demi Lovato returns to the tier, with "Easy" (feat, Noah Cyrus), marking her 7th top-10 effort while the first for Cyrus. Lovato adds 14 new entries in total on the tally for the week in support of the singer's latest album, Dancing With the Devil...The Art of Starting Over.  

   Olivia Rodrigo earns a second top-ten entry at No.9 with "deja vu", which follows her other best entry, "drivers license", a No.2 entry, which is 13 weeks strong on the tally, having garnered 8 weeks straight in the top-ten in a steady descent, having occupied the positions 2 - 9 before its way out of the tier.

   Closing out the top-10 is a returnee therein, James Arthur's No.7 ranking "Medicine" hops back into the tier for a second week, with 5 weeks on the run now. It joins a list of tracks that have managed to loop their way back into the top-ten tier.
