Rating the Best Albums of 2018
JayBeats profiles the greatest pieces of music collection, and as far as the year 2018 goes, here's our list of recommendable and outstanding albums that done made it;

Camila debuted at number 2 on the UK Albums Chart, behind The Greatest Showman soundtrack with first week sales of 21,561 units while topping the Canadian album chart. The set includes tracks like "Never Be the Same", "She Loves Control" and "Consequences" among others.
2. Mania - Fall Out Boy released their 7th rock set (January 19, 2018). It was preceded by five singles: "Young and Menace", "Champion", "The Last of the Real Ones", "Hold Me Tight or Don't", and "Wilson (Expensive Mistakes)". The album was nominated for the category of Best Rock Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. Commercially, the set debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 giving the band a fourth #1 record.
3. The Time is Now - British singer Craig David released his house-influenced 7th piece on 26 January 2018. The album reached number two in the United Kingdom, making it David's fifth UK top 10 album. behind the soundtrack of The Greatest Showman. It includes notable tracks like "I Know You" (featuring Bastille) and "Heartline".
4. Culture II - Hip hop trio, Migos released their third studio effort on January 26, 2018, supported by four singles: "MotorSport", "Stir Fry", "Walk It Talk It" and "Narcos", as well as the promotional single, "Supastars". The record debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 giving Migos' their second US number-one album.
5. Man of the Woods - the fifth studio album by American actor and singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake. It was released on February 2, 2018. The album debuted atop the US Billboard 200, while "Filthy" and "Say Something" reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single "Say Something" received a nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
6. Only Human - the debut studio album, written and conducted by British singer/songwriter Calum Scott, released on 9 March 2018. A perfect record nonetheless charted lowly peaking at #66 in the US and #4 in the UK, while peaking at #5 in Australia. It produced pop-inspired tracks including "Dancing on My Own", "You Are the Reason", "Come Back Home", "Only You" and "Dancing on My Own".

Invasion of Privacy - Cardi B, released her debut on April 5th - debuting atop the US Billboard 200, The singles "Bodak Yellow" and "I Like It" have both reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first female rapper to achieve multiple chart-toppers. It also debuted atop the Canadian Albums Chart, The set received nominations for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, with "I Like It" being nominated for Record of the Year and "Be Careful" for Best Rap Performance. Additionally it was the third most streamed album of 2018 in Apple Music globally, being the highest for a female artist.
8. Golden - Kylie Minogue's 14th studio effort was released 6 April - a pop record that is heavily influenced by country and dance music. Described by Minogue as one of her most personal efforts. It became the singer's first album to peak at number one in both her native Australia and the United Kingdom since Fever in 2001. Golden spawned five singles and one promotional single say "Dancing" ,"Stop Me from Falling","A Lifetime to Repair" , "Golden" and "Music's Too Sad Without You"
9. Speak Your Mind - the debut studio album by British singer Anne-Marie, released on 27 April 2018, pop-EDM record consists of incredible songs including "Alarm", "Heavy" ,"Then", "Ciao Adios" released back in 2017, "Friends", a collaboration with American DJ Marshmello, "2002" and "Perfect"all released in 2018. The album peaked at #3 in her native country's chart and #4 in Ireland.
10. Beerbongs & Bentleys - the second studio album by American rapper Post Malone, released by Republic Records on April 27, 2018. It succeeds Malone's debut album Stoney, released in 2016. Commercially, it debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, as well as the UK album chart with the singles "Rockstar" and "Psycho" peaking at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. "Better Now" was sent to US contemporary hit radio on June 5, 2018, as the album's fifth single peaking at #3 on the Hot 100. 11. Voicenotes - the second studio album by American singer and songwriter Charlie Puth. Released May 11, the pop R&B set peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 even in the UK and received a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. "Attention" was released as the first single from the album on April 21, 2017 peaking at number five on the Billboard Hot 100.
12. Love Yourself: Tear - the third Korean studio album (sixth overall) by South Korean boy band BTS - available in four versions and contains eleven tracks, with "Fake Love" as its lead single. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, becoming BTS' highest-charting album in a Western market, as well as the first Korean album to top the US albums chart and the highest-charting album by an Asian act.
13. Shawn Mendes - The Canadian singer released his self-titled third studio album
primarily a pop album on May 25. The album debuted at number one in Canada, making it Mendes’ third number one album in his home country. It also debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200. Youngblood - the third studio album by Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer released June 15 - debuted at number one in Australia, becoming 5 Seconds of Summer's third number-one album in their home country. In the United States, it became their third number-one album on the Billboard 200 chart, ahead of the Carters' (Beyoncé and Jay-Z) Everything Is Love, making them the first Australian act with three number-one albums in the US.
15. Scorpion - the fifth studio album by Canadian rapper Drake. It was released on June 29, supported by the singles "God's Plan", "Nice for What", "I'm Upset", "Don't Matter to Me", "In My Feelings", "Nonstop" and "Mob Ties". All seven singles reached the top twenty on the US Billboard Hot 100, with three of them reaching number one: "God's Plan", "Nice for What" and "In My Feelings" while debuting atop the US Billboard 200 serving as Drake's eighth number-one album in the country. It was released on August 17 - it debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 thus becoming Grande's third release to reach the top position in the country and subsequently marking the largest opening week numbers of her career. It also topped several international album charts. The lead single, "No Tears Left to Cry", was released on April 20, alongside its music video, and debuted at number three on the Billboard Hot 100. "The Light Is Coming", featuring Minaj, was released as a promotional single on June 20, "God Is a Woman" was released as the second single on July 13, peaking at #8 while the third single "Breathin"has peaked at #12 as of Dec. 2018.
18. Kamikaze - A follow-up to Revival,the tenth studio album by American rapper Eminem was released on August 31, 2018. The album was a commercial success, topping the charts in over fifteen countries. It was his 10th record in a row to go number-one on the Billboard 200, and is also the best selling hip hop album of 2018 so far.The album also entered atop the UK Albums Chart on September 7.
19. Bloom - the second studio album by Australian singer and songwriter Troye Sivan, released on 31 August.The album follows up his 2015 debut studio album, Blue Neighbourhood, It was preceded by the release of the singles "My My My!", "The Good Side", "Bloom", "Dance to This" and "Animal". Bloom debuted at number three in Australia, making it Sivan's highest-charting studio album in his home country while opening at #4 in the US.

Cry Pretty - the sixth studio album by American country music singer and songwriter Carrie Underwood. - released on September 14 - debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, making Underwood the first woman to hit the top of the Billboard 200 chart with four country albums. It also achieved the biggest sales week for a country album in more than three years, as well as the biggest sales week for a female artist in 2018. It also debuted at number one in Canada. The album has so far been supported by two singles: "Cry Pretty" and "Love Wins".
21. 7 - the seventh studio album by French DJ and record producer David Guetta, released on 14 September - On 7, Guetta is reunited with frequent collaborators Sia, Bebe Rexha, Nicki Minaj and Martin Garrix as well being joined by new collaborators Anne-Marie, Faouzia, Madison Beer, Charli XCX, French Montana, J Balvin, Jason Derulo, Willy William, Saweetie, Justin Bieber, Jess Glynne, Lil Uzi Vert, G-Eazy, Mally Mall, Delilah Montagu, Ava Max and CeCe Rogers who all contribute vocals to the album.
22. Dancing Queen - the twenty-sixth studio album by American singer and actress Cher, released Sept. 28 -Cher's first album in five years, following Closer to the Truth (2013). It was released on September 28 -The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with the second-largest streaming week for an album. The record is also Lil Wayne's fourth US number-one album and his third in Canada. The album debuted at number 5 on the UK Albums Chart, giving Wayne his highest charting album in the United Kingdom.
24. Brighter Days - the debut studio album by English DJ and record producer Sigala. It was released on Sept. 28. "Easy Love" was released as the album's lead single on 4 September 2015 -reached number one in the United Kingdom. The album includes six UK top 10 singles.
25. Ella Mai -the eponymous debut studio album by British singer-songwriter Ella Mai, released on 12 October, it includes the singles Boo'd Up" and "Trip".The album debuted in the top 20 in the UK and at number five on the US Billboard 200.

It was released on September 28 -The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with the second-largest streaming week for an album. The record is also Lil Wayne's fourth US number-one album and his third in Canada. The album debuted at number 5 on the UK Albums Chart, giving Wayne his highest charting album in the United Kingdom.
24. Brighter Days - the debut studio album by English DJ and record producer Sigala. It was released on Sept. 28. "Easy Love" was released as the album's lead single on 4 September 2015 -reached number one in the United Kingdom. The album includes six UK top 10 singles.
25. Ella Mai -the eponymous debut studio album by British singer-songwriter Ella Mai, released on 12 October, it includes the singles Boo'd Up" and "Trip".The album debuted in the top 20 in the UK and at number five on the US Billboard 200.
26. Origins - the fourth studio album by the American pop rock band Imagine Dragons, released on November 9,described as a "sister album" to Evolve. The album was preceded by four singles: "Natural", "Zero", "Machine", and "Bad Liar". Origins debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 while topping the Rock and Alternative Album charts.
27. Phoenix - the second studio album by British singer Rita Ora. It was released on 23 November. It spawned the singles, "Your Song", "Anywhere","Girls","Let You Love Me" and the Avicii assisted track,"Lonely Together".
28. Different World -the debut studio album by Norwegian record producer Alan Walker. It was released on 14 December and includes his successful 2015 single "Faded".The album also succeeds a trilogy of releases leading up to the album, entitled World of Walker, which consisted of the singles "All Falls Down", "Darkside" and "Diamond Heart".
29. Sick Boy - the second studio album by American DJ and producer duo The Chainsmokers. It was released on December 14.
